Personality: Josh pretty much doesn't care about anything but being naked, music, having sex, and drinking. That is all that is ever on his to do list from a day to day basis. When it comes to other peoples opinions he just doesn't care, they can think what they want of him because he is sure as Hell making his very own opinions about them.

Music is his outlet. If he's happy there's music. If he's sad there's music. Angry, depressed, lonely, horny, silly, creative. You name it music is involved. Writing, singing, playing, listening, whatever fits his mood. It's his way to escape reality, something he tends to need frequently. The only way he expresses himself is through the sounds of his guitar or with the pen that writes his songs. If you need to know how he feels about any real topic you need to listen to what he is singing, his body language and words while on stage conveying what his normal thoughts and actions can't.

When he doesn't use music to cope he uses alcohol, a technique he learned from his mother. Self medication is a way to survive. If the music doesn't cut it he breaks out the bottles of whatever he has and just starts drinking, and when that doesn't work he invites people over to drink with him. Drunken buddies tend to make you forget your sorrows with their clumsiness and just plain ridiculousness. During his drunken periods is when you will find him open.

As for being naked it's just something he likes to do. Should you analyze it further you might link that to his issue with authorities. Since a young age he has always rebelled against the norm or those who thought they had some form of control over him. Josh uses clothing, or the lack thereof, to prove that no one had any control over his life. He does what he wants, when he wants, how he wants and that is the end of the story. If you were to just ask Josh? "I like being naked. Look at me. Wouldn't you want to see this?"

Oh yeah, he has a bit of an ego. Tends to be required if you insist on walking around in your birthday suit.

The most important thing to Josh, even above his music most the time, is his siblings. They're not the kind of siblings that talk every day or even every week, they've been known to go a few months before picking up the phone or randomly running into one another. Still, that doesn't stop them from picking up right where they left off! It's not uncommon for them to takea fall or a punch (or throw one for that matter) where they are concerned, sticking up for the others until they physically can't any longer. Blood truly is thicker than water.

History: Trailer Park Family -- Growing up with four brothers and two sisters didn't exactly make childhood easy on Joshua. Or any of them for that matter. They were the outcasts at school, the trailer park kids that caused nothing but trouble. It's true, they were rowdy and out of hand but they were a close bunch of kids, the kind that stuck up for each other whenever someone stepped out of the bounds. Their mother wasn't the best, spending more time with their boyfriends and her drinking than them, it taught them self preservation early in life.

Suspended from School -- One comment from a classmate suspended Joshua from school for two weeks. While fighting is in his nature he tended to keep it under wraps at school but the second someone tried to talk about his family all bets were off. Eyes were blacked, bruises were given, and a nose was broken before a teacher made it to the scuffle to break things up. Josh let it be known talking about his family was not accepted in his presence.

Musical Outlet -- Throughout the years he had always turned to music when in a bum mood. It was during his first school suspension that he really embraced his musical talent. Finding a guitar on the side of the street he brought it home, figuring he needed something to do during his time off to keep his mind sane. Progress was slow but eventually he learned his first song, each one after that becoming easier and easier.

Boyfriend #7 -- While growing up his mother had a plethora of boyfriends, the one most memorable being the seventh (at least the seventh he can remember). This man would pretend to be nice to them while his mother was around, getting on her good side, but the second she was done he was the biggest jerk on Earth. Joshua specifically remembers one time when his mother left the room, Mark (or Mike, he couldn't remember), hit him on his back for looking at him the wrong way. The sound had been horrifying and there was a bruise for a couple weeks.

High School Drop Out -- Everyone saw it coming. School wasn't his gig. He made it halfway through junior year before calling it quits, just up and leaving his English class to never come back. Josh got a job to keep him around until he turned eighteen, with the money he had left over after buying a car he drove up to Seattle to try a change of scenery. Finding a job as a bouncer at a local night club/bar he made his earning kicking people out until one night the hired band didn't have their singer show up. Since he knew nearly all the set list he offered up his vocal styling and was a hit, moving from bouncer to singing in one night.

Right Place, Right Time -- Turns out moving from bouncer to singing at the bar was a good decision on Josh's part. One lucky night a record producer was in town, at the very bar he happened to be performing and before the end of the night they were having drinks. By the end of the week he was recording a demo track and within the month Josh had a contract at his fingertips. A couple days went by with the stack of papers just sitting in the middle of his coffee table but one night he sat down, read the thing front to back then signed his name on the dotted line.

Baby or Not -- While in Seattle he met and dated quite a few women but only one was he even remotely serious with. That idea was squashed when she came up to him to let him know she was late for her period. Out of instinct and fear he broke it off and avoided her at all costs. Children is not something that Joshua wants to deal with and the thought of nearly having one tainted the relationship. Not long after that he packed up his stuff and went on the first tour his manager could get.

Traveling Man -- The tour for Capful of Danger was Joshua's very first experience at a real singing gig. The bar hadn't really been big time, the fact that he'd been discovered a miracle of miracles, so it was all a brand new experience for him. One that he might have enjoyed too much. Even if you weren't top of the billboard charts famous there were still groupies you could enjoy, drugs and drinking. Tons of doors were opened that made thing easily accessible. After a year with C.O.D Joshua branced out on his own, his first record hitting the charts and landing himself his own headlining tour.

Trailer Park Man -- Needing something different than the musician lifestyle he found himself settling in Heritage. Josh had been there a handful of times to visit Sylvia for his tattoos not to mention his younger sister Leah lived in town and it seemed like a decent enough place. Putting his money towards a double wide trailer in the local trailer park he now lives there with his five dogs, inviting his sister over on occasion for one of the parties he tends to throw. For the most part he is left alone, Heritage not on most peoples radars but on occasion someone will slip through for an autograph or a chance to bang the rock star.

Fears: Death, having children, losing his hearing, commitment
Desires: Music, alcohol, being naked as much as possible

One Secret: When he was his girlfriend told him she might be pregnant. Josh broke up with her and never saw her again. To this day he doesn't know if she did or didn't have a baby.
